The foundation of your manhole is crucial and on its installation it is important
that the base be placed on 6" min. of compacted rock to insure uniform distribution of soil pressure on floor.
(Min. excavation size 7'4"x7'4" depth required)
1.Concrete mix design 88-089 shall be used to meet 4000psi .
2. Steel
hoops of #4 rebar are cast in each concrete base for safety in handling.
3. All
precast components manufactured by MAR-CON PRODUCTS INC.and installed by R&C
STRUCTURES INC. meet or exceed ASTM
C-478 specifications.
